Bauhn USB to PC connection - any hints ?

Hello,

My Bauhn 9.7" Tablet (AMiD-9743G) won't connect to either of my computers (Windows 7 and Vista) via USB cable everything else about it seems to work so well that I think it must be a setting somewhere.


I found this but it hasnt helped

Anybody got any ideas or already solved this problem ?

Firmware update for Bauhn AT-HK97

Hi folks,

As it says in the heading I'm looking for a firmware update for Bauhn AT-HK97 which I believe was released some time in Feb/March, primarily to update the storage partitions to allow the whole 16gb to be used for apps etc.

The only official website link I've found is apparently now dead...

Does anyone know a mirror or have the file they could throw up on a dropbox etc?

I purchased the Bauhn AMiD-9743g on Saturday from Aldi. I can't for the life of me work out how to take a screenie! My OneX is power-home, but after trying every possible combo on my Bauhn, still no luck! Driving me batty!

I got my tablet last Wednesday and have been trying to root it.

I have tried a whole range of methods, some guaranteed to work on all Android devices, most were free but I paid for several. None of them worked or else stated that they had not yet found a way.

These included SuperOne Click, Root with Restore by Bin4ry v30, OneClickRoot, etc.

Having found that the SuperUser binary must reside in /System/Xbin directory, I tried to use...

I would suggest if your tablet is running ok, visit the update thread and do the update as it puts all the files on your internal SD and then you can recover the tablet easily any time if it's messed up or bricked.

I have not actually recovery flashed my tablets, but on both models, have gone as far as being ready to choose a file. If it works differently to what I describe...

Hi All, recently my sons tablet stopped charging via the 240V DC in port The connector had broken away from the motherboard.

I have since found out how to remove the (Aluminium) back and resolder this connector.
here is what I did.

I have several sets of ipod tools, received when purchasing a new screen, that I used, but all that is really needed is a small flat bladed screw driver and a steady hand...

Got this tablet for Christmas about six months ago and it's been barely used since, however I'm trying to sort it out so I can use it for uni and- hooray- it won't even turn on.
At first it turned on and charged just fine. Then it started to flicker while charging, and it would die and turn off, then turn back on and charge again, then turn off- assumed this is the fault of faulty cord connecting it to my laptop, but then I plugged it into an external charger with a different cord and still...

First posting and only had the tablet since early this year, so apologies if the question has been asked/answered previously.

By way of introduction to my question.

Both cars I drive, have a inbuilt GPS unit that simply works off the GPS satellite system --- they are not connected to any form of internet or Wi-Fi service. I can be anywhere and turn on the GPS unit and it will very soon show me fairly accurately where I am.

The instruction manual (???) for the tablet says on the cover "with...

Bauhn WL-101GQC Factory Reset

Hi guys
I appear to have bricked my tab after trying to update to firmware build to 5.0.0.0 from Tempo Australia site.
I don't seem to be able to factory reset.
I have tried using the reset method outlined in the manual, but get no screen feedback coming up. Battery was good and fully charged at the time. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Anyone have experience on how to revive? Tab needs urgent CPR :)

Power button got loose or may be broken

Hey guyz today i was traveling somewhere and when i took out my tab i found the power button is somewhat loose and my device is not powering on.
bauhn website is currently down. Where can I get it repaired? Please provide some info of some service center in Australia and if in India it will be great.

Bauhn Ultima 9.7 inch tablet failing to start up

Hi Android owners,

I have a Bauhn Ultima 9.7 inch tablet and it now does not start up past the Bauhn logo.

It is the AMID 972SX model and I have had it for over 1 year and have never had any issues before.

Does anyone know how I can salvage the tablet?

I have tried holding the two volume buttons as well as the power button but nothing happens.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi at Bauhn Android. Just purchased Aldi 10.1 tablet using 4.1.2. Can this be ugraded readily to more recent versions? Do later versions cause any issues? How do I update? Not really computer literate but can follow instructions.

I have a Bauhn 9.7 quad core 16gb tablet (AT-HK97) I have games downloaded on it.
Ive brought a 32gb sd card hoping to download games to it or transfer the games I have to it. When I go to the games apps it does not give the option to transfer to sd card. can someone please tell me how to transfer games to sd card & how to download to sd card. Thanks :)

i have Aldi (Bauhn) tablet AMID – 971R ( 9.7” Android Tablet Computer with 16GB Internal Memory)
